Over 12 days, I tracked the amount of time spent under different lighting conditions and translated this data into an interactive, ambient system. Each day is visualized as a cluster of firefly-like particles, where color represents light type and motion, density, and sound intensity reflect its emotional impact. Artificial and mixed lighting produce heightened, unstable activity, while dim and dark environments fade into quieter, slower states. Users can navigate across days or explore individual entries, revealing how everyday light environments shape mood, rhythm, and perception over time.
