A motion piece that translates the instrumental of "La Vie en Rose" into type. I listened to the song instrument by instrument and gave each one its own movement, using expressive typography to capture what jazz makes me feel. The French phrases spiral into the shape of a rose, building more and more layers as the music swells: the rose unfurling the way I imagine it. As the music fades, the rose unwinds until only the title remains.
